What, I still have a blog?? Who knew??

Brittany, this post is for you, because I think that you are the only one who still checks to see if I have updated anything! Love you.

So here is a quick recap of the last half year.
Ryan was in Washington D.C. all of July and August. So when he came home we really wanted to spend some time together as a family. We took off and went to California, where we “house sat” Ryan's brother’s home for most of October. The boys loved taking care of Eva Kitty and Brody Dog, swimming in the pool, riding bikes to the park, skating down the driveway and going to the beach.

We spent two days at Disneyland. The weather was beautiful, the lines were short (relatively) and we loved having Grandma with us. Funny that Thomas was more interested in shopping for a sword than any of the rides. His favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear. Even though it scared him, Nate’s favorite ride was the Pirates of the Caribbean. They now love to pretend they are pirates and sing “Yoho, Yoho a pirates life for me.”

While In Anaheim with Grandma Owens, we all went to a Halloween party at Disneyland. There was dancing, a lot of candy, and a lot of people!

We decided to drive home from California to be back in time for Halloween. It was so much fun carving pumpkins with Papa O and going trick or treating with the Bull cousins! Thomas was Peter Pan and Nathan was Captain Hook.

We had a great Christmas with both families. We enjoyed seeing the lights at Temple Square, sledding, opening presents and eating a lot of good food. The most entertaining was trying to get all of the young kids to act out the manger scene on Christmas Eve. We couldn't’t keep Nathan in his Sheppard’s costume and at one point “Mary” shouted to “Joseph” (Thomas), “Give me back my baby!”

We are still in Utah. Ryan is still chasing after that elusive job and we are all trying to stay positive. But, on to the fun news for all of you who are still reading…We are EXPECTING a little GIRL in May!! We are so excited and it is fun to see the boys be excited as well. They will only let me buy things in pink! I am trying not to go over board. There is just so many more cute little girl things!
